Walter Paytons Roundhouse--Three Summer Shows! June 5, July 17, and Aug 20
Walter Paytons Roundhouse. Aaaaaaaaah Yeeeesssssss!!!!! We LOVE this. Walter Paytons Roundhouse is a summertime tradition for us and each and every year we eagerly await each of the three shows we do here each summer! Those of you who know the place don’t need any convincing. Its just plain cool! If you have never been here before, we’ll try to describe. Walter Paytons is a huge restaurant, bar, comedy club, fondue bar, brewery, private party complex with an enormous round outdoor courtyard in the middle of the building. In the middle of this courtyard is the stage where we play....so its kind of like a concert in the round sort of setup. All around the courtyard are big boulders for you to sit on, grass, and fire pits...oh and those little metal tables and chairs. You can come in to watch the band, grab food or drinks, hang out by a fire pit, plop down in the grass, play bags if you want, or grab a little table and hang with friends. Its also an awesome place to come and have dinner beforehand if you want. You can eat inside the restaurant and then come outside for the show OR you can just sit outside, order sandwiches from the grill, and send the waitress to fetch you drinks. This is a great place for a group of people to meet up because there is so much room. Its also an awesome place for a date/bf/gf. Either way, its a must see summer concert venue and is definitely one of the coolest places we will play all year. If you live some distance from Aurora and are contemplating a drive to the Roundhouse, DO IT. Its seriously worth it. It also doesnt hurt that the crowd at WPR is really pretty easy on the eyes. The guys claim that the loveliest young ladies frequent the Roundhouse, which probably explains why the band is always so excited to play here. Back to top

7 WAYS TO FIND OUT WHERE WE ARE PLAYING AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT
1) Go to www.mikeandjoe.com and hit the TOUR page. Seriously, our tour page rocks! We try to include lots of info about each show, and we use the mouse over feature built into this page so you dont have to click on anything to get info about the shows. Just hover over each date and its all there for you. You can also click on the name of the venue to go to their website, or you can click on the MAP icon next to each date to get directions to each show. Check it out. Its a good page:)

2) we always list our show dates on our MySpace profile. www.myspace.com/mikeandjoerock

3) We always list our tour dates in the Activities section on our Facebook page. To find us search for mikeandjoe (all one word, no spaces). We really prefer our Facebook page so please friend request us.

4) you can sign up on our e-mail list at www.mikeandjoe.com and we will send you our dates on e-mail. Handy. Convenient. The info comes to you instead of you going to it.

5) you can always call 888-MIKEJOE for a recording of all of our tour dates. Yup. You might not always be near a computer, but you pretty much always have a phone. Dial it anytime baby!

6) we generally pass out business card size tour date schedules at our shows. This is the low tech option. No computer, no phone needed. Grab one and keep it in your purse or wallet for quick reference!

7) Read our minds. If you are a mindreader, Joe thinks about the schedule way more than anyone else around here, so definitely read his mind instead of one of the other guys.
